Last weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the second annual Scruffy City Comedy Festival in Knoxville, TN as a performer. It was a wild weekend of comedy and booze and new friends and old friends and air sex and ribbon dancing.
Thank you to Matt Ward and the Scruffy City Comedy Festival for having me.
Thank you to Jeff Blank for housing me and discussing Golden Earring's "Twilight Zone."
Thank you to Carmen Morales for being so amazing and taking the vast majority of these pictures below.
Thank you to Michael Shibley for hosting the opening show of the festival and talking sports and showtunes with me.
Thank you to Chris Trew for letting me compete in the first ever Knoxville Air Sex World Championships and letting me give a very awkward air sex performance to Ben Fold Five's "Brick" and tapping me in my nuts with the microphone.
Thank you to Carmen Morales (again), Ian Aber, Lauren Bencaz and Scott Eason for being guests on the first ever live podcast recording of Breakup Breakdown.
Thank you to Knox Brew Tours for educating us on some of the amazing beers in the Knoxville area.
Thank you to Mia Jackson for allowing me to host your headlining performance and be the only white person on that show.
Thank you to Liz Brooks for stalling while I sprinted from that headlining show to the bar next door to do my final set of the festival.
Thank you to everyone that put up with me at the after party while I gave random lap dances to songs from A Goofy Movie soundtrack.
But mostly...just....thank you. Thank you to everyone for making me so so happy with my life currently. I love what I get to do, and a huge part of that is because of all the awesome people that I get to do it with. So...thank you!
