Happy New Years Eve Eve! It's my favorite holiday (It's not actually my favorite holiday. [My favorite holidays are Halloween and Ocho de Mayo {That's what I call my birthday <It has all the Mexican food and tequila of Cinco de Mayo, but less Mexican independence and more me>}])! Tonight, to celebrate this joyous day, I'm hosting a Beer and Comedy show at the Sleepy Owl Brewery in Kingsport, TN.
Lemme tell you how excited I am. Ready?.....
Very.
I am very excited.
I love these shows. Not only does it give me the chance to bring comics in from out of town to the Tri Cities...Not only does it give me the chance to give local comics a new stage to perform on...Not only does it give me the chance to introduce people to the ever growing craft beer scene in the area...It allows me to do all of those things in one drunken night of fun.
I'm not gonna lie...that paragraph got away from me.
But seriously, when I started doing the Beer and Comedy shows in Kingsport (with the blessing of Joe Pettis out of Atlanta), there were a few people that I KNEW I wanted on these shows. Tonight, you're getting those people! Tom Scheve from Asheville, Victor Agreda from Knoxville, and by crazy random happenstance, Grayson Morris is in town from LA, and she wanted to come and have some fun! Yay! I'm such a little kid when it comes to things that work out! EEEEEEE!!!!!!
Come on out! Beforehand, I'll be recording a new episode of My TV Stories with Victor.
Cheers!
